 | | The weather is drizzly and wet, mores the pity after the last few days. So that can only mean shopping and for that we are off to Keswick. Breakfast of boiled egg ( duck) and toast yum….then its wet water gear packed into the car and away. We surprise a Red Deer out of the undergrowth as we round the bend in the driveway for the house.
Keswick is only 12 miles away and takes hardly any time at all before we are parking the car in a side street. | | The Town is quiet, not so in the Summer months, the High Street would be busy with shoppers and tourists taking tea in the various Cafe’s. We choose Booth’s ( Fortnum and Mason’s of the North). The first store was opened in 1874 in Blackpool.
